Here is a list of frequently asked questions about Phonip. We tried our best to deliver a comprehensive answer to each question. Nevertheless, if you need any further clarification, please don’t hesitate to contact us.

  1. Click on the "SIGN UP" button.
  2. You will be asked to create a Phonip number (7, 5, or 4 digits depending on your chosen plan) and fill out a personal information form asking for some simple info, including your name, country, and email address. We respect your privacy and will not share this information without advance notice. (You can read the policies here)
  3. Once you have registered, you will receive a verification email within a couple of minutes. You have to verify your email address to activate your Phonip number.
Phonip is a web-based video/audio chat platform by which you can receive paid video/audio calls;
  • Just like other voice/video chat software, you should create an account on Phonip (check our packages here).
  • Once you’ve registered and verified your email address, you’ll get your Phonip number/Phonip link that you can share with whomever you want to receive voice/video calls from.
  • You’ll get paid per minute of your incoming calls based on the price you set ($0.01/min-$10/min based on the registry plan you choose).
  • The caller is in charge of the payment, and they can pay by almost any card, including PayPal, Visa, MasterCard, American Express, etc. and the payment is directly processed on Phonip.
  • You can request to withdraw your income once you reach at least $50. You’ll get paid within 7 business days from the moment we receive your withdrawal request.
For the Starter plan (the free one), your 10-digit Phonip number activates instantly, right after you complete your registration. However, for the other paid plans (Standard and Business), it will take 2 to 3 business days after the registration is completed.
Phonip uses an automated billing mechanism. This means the platform automatically charges the caller based on the fee/minute adjustment you define for your incoming calls and subtracts the call cost from the callers' Phonip credit balance, adding it to your Phonip account balance. When your account balance reaches $50 or more, you can request for withdrawal.
Please note that the transaction settlement time can vary from 1 hour up to 1 week. The duration totally depends on the PayPal network, and we have no control over it.
Open your Phonip dashboard, you’ll see a unique invitation link hanging on the very first box. You can share this link directly with your audience or post it on your social channels or your website.
Nothing special! Phonip is a web-based video/audio chatting platform that works just like other similar platforms and apps (Skype, Zoom…), which means you can log in to your account from any device you have using a web browser. You do not need to install any software or download any application.
Yes, you do. You can make high-quality, secure voice/video calls across 170 countries worldwide, using your Phonip phone number, on any platform that supports a web browser.
Phonip is Integrated with a wide range of software and hardware, such as PBXs, SIP/IP-phone, landline, mobile, and any other secure unified communication service. It means that you can use your Phonip number to make both Phonip calls and international phone calls.
Click/tap on the call history tab on your account dashboard, you’ll see a CDR (Call Duration Record) table containing earnings, costs, and duration of the last 50 calls in addition to their exact time and date. All integrated into one single simple table.
The Starter Package (0378 numbers) is totally free but if you choose a Standard or Business Package (0555 or 0777 numbers), there is only an annual maintenance cost you need to pay and there will be no other hidden fees. You have to know that there is no long-term commitment to our interactive value-added services. You can request to cancel your line anytime you want.
For free packages (0378 numbers), the lines will be suspended and deactivated if no call is made or received for more than three months.
The case is different for 0555 and 0777 Phonip numbers. As long as the owner of the line pays their annual subscription, you can keep your numbers and use our services for 1 year.
Customers can pay by almost any card, including PayPal, Visa, MasterCard, American Express, Discover, JCB, and Diners Club credit and debit cards. We are glad to announce that we accept payments from most countries, and we are constantly trying our best to ease the payment process and make our service internationally available.

It varies depending on the price adjustment that the destination number owner has set, from $0.01 up to $10 per minute. The cost is subtracted from your account credit balance as your session goes on.
On the "your channel" tab, on your account dashboard, you can set up a channel name and description as well as the billing adjustment for the incoming calls, from $0.01/min up to $10/min depending on your account type (the package you registered for).
Sandbox has everything Phonip offers, but for FREE! You can get a Phonip number and make voice/video calls to other sandbox Phonip numbers, totally for FREE, which also means, unlike Phonip you won’t get paid for receiving calls.
